{"id":41,"date":"2008-02-02T04:31:39","date_gmt":"2008-02-02T10:31:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.totheeast.com\/blog\/2008\/02\/02\/alive-and-well\/"},"modified":"2008-02-02T04:31:39","modified_gmt":"2008-02-02T10:31:39","slug":"alive-and-well","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.totheeast.com\/blog\/2008\/02\/alive-and-well\/","title":{"rendered":"Alive and Well!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Sorry I haven&#8217;t written yet.\u00a0 Life in a new country is crazy, but it&#8217;s going great.\u00a0 I just uploaded some pictures that you can see <a href=\"http:\/\/www.flickr.com\/photos\/jhizzle\" title=\"Flickr photos\" target=\"_blank\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>I hope to write a little very soon to post on here.\u00a0 I&#8217;m still trying to get settled in, and I&#8217;m getting there step by step.\u00a0 I had to visit the doctor earlier this week, because I was really dizzy for a couple of days.\u00a0 It turns out that I had ear infections in both ears.\u00a0 The hospital was really nice, and I got some medicine that helped a ton.<\/p>\n<p>Work is extremely busy, but I love it.\u00a0 I really love the people I work with.\u00a0 Check this out.\u00a0 My team of 7 people is represented by 7 different countries:\u00a0 Germany, India, Turkey, Syria, Palestine, and the US.\u00a0 That&#8217;s right, I&#8217;m the only American.\u00a0 What an awesome experience!\u00a0 The team dynamic is nothing like I&#8217;ve ever experienced.\u00a0 The cultural differences are interesting and fun, and everyone is very helpful.\u00a0 I really do love it.<\/p>\n<p>More to come!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Sorry I haven&#8217;t written yet.\u00a0 Life in a new country is crazy, but it&#8217;s going great.\u00a0 I just uploaded some pictures that you can see here.
