I&#8217;m sitting in the Emirates business class lounge in the Dubai airport right now waiting on the final leg of my trip to Doha.<\/p>\n<p>I&#8217;ve never flown business class before, so this was a great experience for me.\u00a0 I&#8217;m already spoiled.\u00a0 I was able to get some sleep on the plane, and I&#8217;ve definitely eaten well: on the plane, in New York, and in the airport lounges.\u00a0 I never realized how big of a deal the lounges in the airports are.\u00a0 They have made all of the difference in the world for me during my layovers.\u00a0 It&#8217;s nice and quiet, and they have complementary food and drinks.\u00a0 The picture here is of the lounge in New York.<\/p>\n<p>I have pictures up of my time in New York.\u00a0 I didn&#8217;t take pictures of the restaurant where I ate dinner, but believe me, it was very classy!\u00a0\u00a0 You can see the pics by clicking <a href=\"https:\/\/www.totheeast.com\/blog\/photos\">here<\/a> or clicking on the &#8220;photos&#8221; link in the upper-right corner of the page.\u00a0 The plugin for the photos is not working perfectly, be warned.\u00a0 For example, the slideshow link doesn&#8217;t work.<\/p>\n<p>Look for more to come!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I have made the large part of trip to the other side of the world from my home in Texas.
