It's pretty well known, though, that people in Qatar (citizens and expats alike) and the rest of the GCC, really, take weekend trips to Dubai for this very reason. I went to a softball tournament in Dubai a couple of months ago, and saw some of this firsthand. The softball fields were right next to a hotel and several bars. My friends and I saw several prostitutes hitting on the players, who were mainly expats or military guys that had flown in from around the region. Regardless, this whole battle is a strong reminder to pray for both sides, that a true peace that is not of this world would come to the whole region.
